Parikhet was invited to join the Grand Prix of Indonesia competition, held at Lake Toba, Indonesia
Raimondo di San Germano, the legitimate owner of the F1 Powerboat Championship, said that with the success of the WGF#1, which was supported by the Thai government,Thailand had increased interest in motorsports among sports fans worldwide.

WGP#1 will be held this year in Poland (May 18-21), France (July 27-30), the USA (October 4-8), and Thailand (Pattaya: December 13-17).
Parikhet said WGP#1 tournament can bolster the country in various aspects:
• Promoting the sports-tourism industry of the country as 2,000-3000 athletes were predicted to join the competition, generating around up to 1 billion baht in circulation.
• Supporting the country's sports sector, particularly the water jet sector.
• Bringing the nation's sports industry to an international level as the competition is broadcasted to more than 120 countries.
• Establishing the contest as a benchmark for other domestic competitions.
• Preventing athletes from being exploited
• Enhancing the dignity of Thai sports
